Liverpool were once again found out against a side lower down the league table last night as they drew with Bournemouth at Anfield 2-2.
That has been the story of their season this year, too, with the club able to beat the biggest teams in the division and then struggle in games they should win.
And, as Josh King hit the equaliser for the Cherries in the last few minutes of the match, you could just tell the Reds’ supporters were sick as parrots – whatever that actually means.
Someone else who was nearly sick, though, was Jurgen Klopp who – as quoted by Sky Sports – said he felt like he wanted to vomit when the late strike went in.
“Usually you close the game in one moment, we didn’t, we left it open.
“Then it’s a second ball after a set piece and that made me nearly vomit.”
Well, he certainly doesn’t mince his words and we can only apologise if you’re reading this whilst having dinner.
