Another Premier League weekend is upon us with some huge games set to be played over the coming few days.
It’s getting to the point in the season now where you either act or watch things move on without you and so we should be expecting full commitment particularly from those sides still with something to play for.
We’re set for some captivating action, then, and with that in mind it’s time to look at the three individuals that could prove the main protagonists in this latest Premier League chapter…
Manchester United v Chelsea is obviously the biggest game of the weekend with the hosts looking to boost their top four challenge and the Blues looking to earn another step to the title. It’s time for the big players to step up, then, and so once again United will be looking for Ibrahimovic to make his mark. The Red Devils will only win this game if the Swede is on song.
No, really. The Spanish forward has not been given many chances to convert by Middlesbrough this season but he’s also hardly been as good as his talent suggests he should have been. Even so, Boro simply have to win against Arsenal and as the Gunners are in poor form with their defence looking frail, it’s time to step up, Alvaro.
Ayew was bright against West Ham, even if Swansea did lose to them, and another good display against Watford this weekend should see a change in fortune. The Swans are running out of time to rediscover their form under Paul Clement and the Ghanaian is pivotal to that.
