Burnley’s best 4 stars for 2017/18

Whisper it quietly, but the new Premier League season is not that far away now and, before you know it, we’ll but wondering just exactly what it’s like to not have football about…

Indeed, it isn’t long until we delve into another season of club football and so, as is customary at this time of year, it’s time to wheel out some season preview material.

Here at Rush Football, then, we’re taking a look at each Premier League club’s best four stars for the coming campaign and next up it’s Burnley.

See if you agree with our selections…

Jeff Hendrick

hendrick

Hendrick is a really quality midfielder in the centre of the park and was a shrewd bit of business from Clarets boss Sean Dyche.

He can score goals, set them up and stick his foot in and that makes him a very valuable asset in the Premier League.

More of the same will be needed from him this season, then.

Andre Gray

gray

Gray is a real explosive forward and if Burnley can keep him past this summer they will be very happy indeed.

He’s got enough pace to get away from anyone in the league whilst his finishing in front of goal is also good.

He’ll be looking to kick on after a strong season last year.

Ashley Barnes

barnes

Barnes is a real hard worker and that kind of talent cannot be underestimated in the Premier League.

He may not be the most technically gifted but he’s always going to hassle defenders and that led him to grabbing vital goals last year.

Another big season from him is going to be needed.

Tom Heaton

heaton

It’s going to be a big season for Heaton.

He was one of Burnley’s best players last season with the way he kept the Clarets in games and more of the same will be expected.

For sure, with a World Cup at the end of this season, too, we should see the stopper in fine form from the get-go.
