West Brom’s best 4 stars for 2017/18

Whisper it quietly, but the new Premier League season is not that far away now and, before you know it, we’ll but wondering just exactly what it’s like to not have football about…

Indeed, it isn’t long until we delve into another season of club football and so, as is customary at this time of year, it’s time to wheel out some season preview material.

Here at Rush Football, then, we’re taking a look at each Premier League club’s best four stars for the coming campaign and next up it’s West Brom.

See if you agree with our selections…

Nacer Chadli

chadli

Chadli is the kind of player that West Brom need to sign more of.

Deft in the touch and quick on the ball, the former Spurs man is that next rung up in terms of calibre player that the Baggies need to progress.

There’s suggestions he and Tony Pulis haven’t agreed in pre-season, though, and so that will need to be addressed.

Salomon Rondon

Rondon is a real powerhouse and when he is in the mood he is a real tour de force up top.

The problem is, he doesn’t have those days often enough and that needs to change for this campaign.

He’s bound to score goals, but you feel he could grab even more if he just kept his levels up.

Matt Phillips

phillips

Philipps was a great signing for the Albion last season and duly underlined that with some top displays.

He’s fast and direct out wide and his quality on the ball is good too – making him a very strong asset to have.

We’re expecting a very strong season from him.

Gareth McAuley

mccauley

McAuley may be getting on in years but he’s still a solid defender whilst his aerial ability makes him a top drawer asset going forward.

For sure, there’s a reason he’s a fantasy football favourite amongst many and with his seemingly ever-green ability, he’s bound to be again this season coming.

Have we forgotten anyone? Let us know!
