It was confirmed yesterday that Everton had sacked Ronald Koeman after a woeful run of form…
The Toffees spent big in the summer in order to try and assert themselves amongst the top six in the Premier League but it has back-fired spectacularly.
Suffering with a real dearth of pace, the Blues find themselves in a relegation battle right now and, though they should get out of that, that is what has cost Koeman his job.
A new boss will need to be appointed, then, and, according to Sky Bet, it’s Sean Dyche is the favourite for the job from David Unsworth.
Dyche, currently at Burnley, is fast becoming a hot-property in the Premier League managerial-wise and could just see this step up as the next big thing for his career.
Unsworth, meanwhile, knows the club very well and guided the U23 side to the Premier League 2 title last year, so might be good if the Toffees want to inject some more youth to their side.
