Whilst few want to see the best players in Europe injured and missing big games through knocks and niggles, Manchester United fans might be happy with this latest report.
The Red Devils head to Paris with the aim of turning over a deficit from the first leg against PSG in the Champions League of 2-0.
The Parisiens outclassed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men at Old Trafford – prompting the Norwegian to admit his side aren’t quite the finished article just yet.
Even so, they have shown they have improved dramatically in recent weeks and they do have a chance in the French capital, with Edinson Cavani a potential absentee for the home side.
According to Thomas Tuchel – via Reuters – he is a doubt for the game tomorrow and will be assessed ahead of kick-off, despite training the last two days:
“He took part in the last two training sessions in full, but we are going to wait until tomorrow.”
Cavani is obviously a fantastic attacker and United would be boosted by him missing the game, so it remains to be seen what happens here.
