According to Sky Sports, Manchester United will look to try and sign Max Aarons from Norwich City if they cannot get Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils have been linked with a lot of players already this summer and a number of them have been young and British.
Clearly, that seems to be the criteria they are going for when identifying new players and both Aarons and Wan-Bissaka fulfil those attributes.
AWB, of course, excelled for Palace last season and really caught the eye as a potential England full-back.
Aarons, meanwhile, also had a fruitful campaign for Norwich City as they earned promotion to the Premier League and it is clear that he is seen as a handy alternative.
Indeed, if United and Palace cannot agree a deal for Wan-Bissaka, the Old Trafford side might feel a bit more confident that they can get Aarons as Norwich have not yet enjoyed a stint in the Premier League as long as Palace and have less financial clout.
