Arsenal manager Unai Emery will be looking to add to his side this summer as the Gunners aim to get back into the Champions League.

After finishing 5th this season and losing out in the Europa League final, the Gunners are set for another stint in Europe’s secondary competition next season.

Emery did show some decent signs that he could get them back into the top four, though, and will be looking to add to his side where possible in the summer.

However, their pursuit of James Maddison appears to have got a lot harder according to Football Insider.

They allege that the attacking midfielder – who could cost £60m – is now of interest to Manchester City, whilst Spurs are also apparently keen.

And, with both those sides in the Champions League and City the domestic treble holders, it could well leave Arsenal empty-handed in this particular chase.

We’ll soon have an idea what kind of clout Arsenal have, then.
