Celtic beat Rangers at the weekend in the Old Firm to close in on another Scottish Premiership title.

The Bhoys have really motored on since the start of the second half of the campaign north of the border and have left the Gers, and everyone else, in their wake.

Indeed, the win on Sunday took the Hoops 13 points clear of their nearest rivals in the league and they’ve received more welcome news in the form of an injury recovery.

According to the Scotsman, Filip Benkovic is back in training with the defender coming at a perfect time for the Bhoys.

Dedryck Boyata has been ruled out for the rest of the season whilst Jozo Simunovic is just coming back into the side, so there’s plenty of change coming to the backline.

That shouldn’t have much of an impact on the Bhoys now, though, who are on course to win 8IAR and another treble.
