According to Football Insider, Leeds United have rejected an offer from a Spanish club to take attacker Samuel Saiz on loan for next season.

The number 10 left the club in the January window amid homesickness and spent a loan period at Getafe.

He very rarely featured for them, though, and is back at Leeds – though for how long remains to be seen.

The Whites want to get rid of him this summer on a permanent basis given what has gone on and then move on from him, and it appears a loan deal will not be entertained.

Whether the unnamed Spanish side comes back in with a permanent offer remains to be seen, meanwhile, but Leeds will surely hope that they are going to.

Having a player around that doesn’t want to be there is never the most ideal situation and so getting shot of him will be the order of the day at some point this summer.
