According to All Nigeria Soccer, Crystal Palace are looking into trying to sign Tottenham youngster Jubril Okedina in the summer window.

The young defender can play at full-back or at centre-back at present and so is clearly versatile when it comes to looking after his own goal.

However, you’d have thought as he grows as a player he will need to specialise in one area – something he might well do at Palace.

The Eagles are apparently eager to take him on once he leaves Tottenham in the off-season and look to bring him through as effectively one of their own.

The men from Selhurst Park have a happy tradition of bringing young footballers through into the first-team and seeing them do well.

The likes Wilfried Zaha, Victor Moses and Yannick Bolasie have all made their names in South London and though it is early, Okedina will hope he can do the same.

Surely, he’ll be using Aaron Wan-Bissaka as inspiration.
