Cameron Jerome is expecting Norwich City to head back to the Premier League come the end of the season.
The Canaries are flying in the second tier at the moment and extended their lead at the top of the table on Wednesday night with a good win over Brentford.
Indeed, though they only got the one goal they made some very good chances besides that and simply looked that bit better than Brentford on the night.
They’re sitting pretty at the top of the Championship tree now, and Jerome has said that they are looking comfortable.
Quoted by EFL on Quest, he said:
“They’re in a really comfortable position and Daniel will be ecstatic with the result, especially over a promotion rival.
“Another good home performance and another key moment from Emi Buendia.”
Rush Football’s take
It’s quite hard to see just how Norwich are stopped from going up now this season.
They have built a healthy gap to those below them and even if Swansea win their games in hand the Yellows will still be pretty comfortable.
They know exactly what they are doing when it comes to winning promotion from the Premier League, too, and it would appear as though they are going to be one of the three teams that come up from the second tier.
For Brentford, meanwhile, the aim is to join them and they’ll be looking to bounce back as soon as possible.
