Richarlison has offered his praise to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and the striker’s improvement in recent months.

The Everton striker has started the season on fire and has quickly established himself as one of the leading forwards in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot this year.

Indeed, Everton are top of the Premier League as we head into the international break and that is in no small part thanks to his goals, though several other players have been impressive this year for them too.

Richarlison is one man particularly impressing, too, and he will be eager to challenge DCL for club top scorer if he can.

Speaking to FIFA’s official website and as quoted by Goal, he said:

‘Dominic’s development has been really impressive.’

‘He’s transformed into a complete striker. I remember when I got here he was nothing like the player he is today.

‘It’s down to the work he’s put in. He’s in the gym every day, he’s always working on his finishing. And playing under [Carlo] Ancelotti he’ll keep getting better and better.’

The transformation under Ancelotti has been unbelievable and fans will be hoping that that continues for the rest of the season.

First, though, Calvert-Lewin will be challenging for a starting spot for England in the coming days.
