Everton defender Lucas Digne faces a spell on the sidelines after the full-back picked up an injury to his ankle in training with the Blues.
The French full-back is well known for his attacking qualities as well as his defensive attributes, with him setting up four goals so far in the Premier League.
He is, though, now set for a period away from the action with Paul Joyce taking to Twitter to reveal:
Lucas Digne suffered ankle injury training this week. Everton awaiting severity of injury amid fears he may need surgery and could be out for two months.

The Blues take on Leeds United this weekend at Goodison Park.
Rush Football’s take
This is obviously far from ideal news for Everton.
Digne is a player that has proven crucial to both the Toffees’ defence and attack with the way he can whip balls into the box and deliver fine set-pieces with that left foot of his.
It’s clear he will be out for a while with or without the need for surgery and time will tell just whether an operation is needed.
