Tottenham take on LASK in Austria this evening as they look to earn three points in Europa League qualifying without the help of a handful of players.
Spurs are having a good season. They’re joint top of the league on points and are looking on course to qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
Indeed, a win tonight would see them into the knockout stages and then it would all about trying to beat Antwerp to top spot.
First, though, is tonight’s game in Austria and several players will be missing, as per talkSPORT.
Harry Kane, Erik Lamela, Sergio Reguilon, and Carlos Vinicius are all set to sit this one out.
Rush Football’s take
Tottenham will have one eye on Arsenal this weekend as they head into tonight’s game, that much is certain.
The Lilywhites will be hoping the likes of Kane recover in time for the north London derby and so perhaps missing tonight will eventually be a blessing in disguise.
In fairness, even without this quartet Spurs should have enough to get a result this evening and then they can go about trying to beat Antwerp to top spot in the group, ahead of the knockout stage.
