Liverpool kept their 100% winning streak up last night as they beat Crystal Palace thanks to goals from James Milner and Sadio Mane.

A fairly assured performance, the Reds underlined their ability to win ugly as they got business done with minimal fuss.

For Jurgen Klopp, though, certain players could have been a lot better with him arguing his full-backs could have raised their performance.

Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold did not have bad games by any stretch of the imagination but they were perhaps less forward-thinking than usual.

And, for Klopp, they were below their usual high-level.

He said speaking to Monday Night Football on Sky Sports after the win:

“It was not a brilliant performance – our full-backs can play 70 or 80 percent better – but I’m very happy with the result.”

At the end of the day, though, a win is a win and the Reds won’t mind as they keep pace with Manchester City up at the top of the league.

Up next for them, Brighton at Anfield on Saturday.
