Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp recently ruled out any transfer activity as he was content with the strength and depth of his squad. However, we believe that in order to secure the Premier League title he will need to strengthen the side. We, Rush Football, have highlighted three players who we believe will see the Reds secure the Premier League title.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with the French international in recent times. In the summer, a deal for the 25-year-old neared completion, however, this fell through after a long-term knee injury came to light in his medical. The arrival of Nabil Fekir at Anfield would provide the creative flair that Mané, Firmino and Salah would benefit from as well as add some much-needed strength in depth.
The departure of Nathaniel Clyne to Bournemouth and injuries to Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold has left Liverpool short in the right back position. In addition to this, the stand-in right back James Milner received his marching orders against Crystal Palace which has caused Klopp a further selection headache. The Liverpool manager could turn his attention to Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka rather than rely on the inexperienced Rafael Camacho to fill the role. The 21-year-old has been solid for the Eagles this season and would provide competition for Alexander-Arnold and Gomez as well as being a hot prospect for the future.
Another player Liverpool have been heavily linked with in recent times is RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner. The German international has notched eleven goals in 18 Bundesliga fixtures this season as RB Leipzig challenge for Champions League qualification. The German international would further bolster Liverpool’s already impressive attacking line-up, adding to Klopp’s arsenal.
