Football Insider has reported recently that Leeds are interested in Nick Powell but it seems as though the race for the attacking midfielder is going to be a battle.
The Wigan man has enjoyed another good campaign with Wigan Athletic this season with it clear that he’s got plenty to offer higher up.
And, indeed, Leeds are apparently looking to try and offer him that chance, though a giant north of the border remains keen.
As per Alan Nixon on Twitter, Rangers are still watching on with interest with Powell’s contract with the Latics up at the end of the season.
Wigan’s Powell is rated at £3.15m by transfermarkt and so whoever gets to sign him on a free will be pulling off some coup.
It should be no surprise to see the likes of Leeds and Rangers going for him, then, and it’ll also be no surprise to see other teams wading in and trying to attract him to sign for their club.
