Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that his Leicester City side can finish this season strongly as they battle for seventh place in the league.

The Foxes have had an okay season this year, but inconsistency has let them down at times.

Finish on a high, though, and add in the summer and there is no reason why they can’t push on – though one man, in particular, might not be joining them on that journey.

According to SDNA in Greece, Islam Slimani is of interest to Olympiacos in a move that will surely appeal to the Foxes.

The big striker was signed as the club looked to kick on from the Premier League win they achieved but he’s simply not proved good enough.

They’ll be eager to see such interest become something more concrete, then, even if it means cutting their losses on the forward and moving on into the summer window.
