Celtic manager Neil Lennon will learn his fate in the next 48 hours with talks set to be held over his future, according to the Scottish Sun.

The Hoops have been in massively poor form in recent weeks with them getting knocked out of the Europa League and falling well off of the pace in the Scottish Premiership title race with Rangers in fine fettle.

And, after a Betfred Cup loss to Ross County on Sunday sparked angry fan protests outside Celtic Park, it looks as though Lennon is now on the brink of the sack.

Rush Football’s take

The implosion we’ve seen with the Hoops this season has been stark.

Celtic fans would have known eventually their domestic run of dominance would have come to an end but they would have hoped far more fight would have been demonstrated than we are seeing at the moment.

Lennon is right up against it and there are clear sections of the support far from happy with things, and we’ll likely soon see whether those running the club are feeling similar this week.
