Luke Shaw has been working hard on exercise bikes during his break on the Greek island of Mykonos, as per the Manchester Evening News.

The player has been out injured since July after picking up a blow against Southampton in their Premier League clash but is working hard now and hoping to be back for the early part of 2020/21.

Whether or not he is fit in time for the new campaign to kick-off remains to be seen but it looks as though he won’t be too far away and the hope will be to have him in the squad sooner rather than later.

United are back in the Champions League for 2020/21 and Shaw will be eager to play his part in their group games, as well as hoping to help them try to bridge the gap to top two Manchester City and Liverpool.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, meanwhile, will also be considering new arrivals for the summer window.
