The transfer window is truly open now and the potential deals to go through this summer could be rather substantial.
Of course, about 85% of touted deals don’t actually go through (that’s a rough guess,) but it’s always exciting when they do and the one being mooted in Tuttosport – via The Daily Mail – would certainly get people talking.
Indeed, the Italian outlet is reporting that Manchester United are willing to table a bid of £183 million combined with David de Gea for the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata.
That, then, would be some deal with it certainly breaking the current transfer record fee spent on Paul Pogba by the Red Devils last season.
It would also see three of the world’s best stars change clubs with Ronaldo returning to the club where he made his name and de Gea moving to the Bernabeu after spending the beginning of his career at cross-city rivals Atletico.
A good deal, United fans? Let us know what you think!
