Manchester United are apparently keen on trying to sign Chelsea player Reece James this summer, according to the Sun.
The Red Devils did not have the season they would have liked this year as they finished sixth in the Premier League table – short of the Champions League spots.
They’re expected to try and spend this summer to help rediscover their form, then, and it looks as though they are eyeing young British talent in the window.
James is certainly one to watch, then, with him linked with the Red Devils after an excellent season for Wigan Athletic in the Championship in 2018/19.
Indeed, he made the Championship Team of the Year – as voted by managers in the division – despite Wigan finishing near the bottom of the table.
A versatile player that can operate in midfield or defence, it’s clear he’s got plenty about him and Chelsea are bound to put up a fight in order to keep him at the club.
