It’s safe to say Mino Raiola hasn’t always been particularly well liked by Manchester United fans at times in the recent past.
An agent Sir Alex Ferguson couldn’t stand, he’s often been criticised for putting money above anything else and getting extortionate amounts out of transfer deals.
Indeed, he’s also made plenty of comments to stir the pot in terms of potential moves for his players but his latest line on Paul Pogba might actually be welcomed.
Telling Rai Sport, he had this to say about the French midfielder and his relationship with the Old Trafford club:
“Paul has mended his relationship with Mourinho.
“He is calmer because he feels important in Manchester, even if Turin has remained in his heart.”
Pogba and Jose Mourinho haven’t always seen eye to eye and this set of comments from Raiola proves it.
However, it seems as though some bridges have been built and in recent weeks the midfielder’s performances have improved.
Whether it stays like this is up for debate, of course, but at least things seem a little calmer in this regard right now.
