Well, we’re firmly in April, now, and, whether we like it or not, the transfer rumours are going to step up another notch.

For sure, it barely feels like it ever ends and, in truth, it never does but that doesn’t mean all stories and links are bad – just most of them.

Anyway, as is the way with this business we still need to take a look at many rumours to assess them and it appears, according to The Guardian, Robert Lewandowski could replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United.

Now, there are two things that this hinges on. Firstly, Zlatan has to up sticks and move away and, secondly, United have to be in the Champions League.

They’ve still yet to really suggest they’re going to do that, too, for next season and so it really does remain to be seen if the Polish international makes his Old Trafford move.

We’ve a hunch, though, that he’ll be staying at Bayern Munich…
