There is no game for Manchester United to be involved in this weekend and so all eyes for them will be on FC Barcelona in a few days from now.

The Red Devils take on the Catalan giants in one of the ties of the quarter-finals in the European competition but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has some injury issues to deal with.

Chief among them, it seems as though Marcus Rashford is struggling with an ankle problem, and it is touch and go as to whether he features next week.

The Norwegian manager revealed to Sky Sports – via United’s official website – that he is hopeful but there are no guarantees:

“A different ankle, it’s not the same ankle luckily. Hopefully, we can mend him for the next game.”

A touch and go call it appears, then, but at least they have the weekend and the start of next week to get him up to speed.

They’ll hope they can, too, as he is one of the key potential threats to Barcelona.
