Jose Mourinho has suggested that attacker Heung-Min Son would like to continue his spell at Tottenham past his current contract with the club, which runs for another three years.

The South Korean winger has got plenty of fans not just associated with Spurs and seeing him stay in the Premier League would be something many want to see.

It looks as though Mourinho is of the opinion that the attacker wouldn’t be leaving any time soon, too, with him suggesting that he could be happy to commit to more years past 2023.

Quoted by the Daily Mail, he said:

“Son has three years of contract so it’s not like we’re in an extreme situation of everybody being worried.

“It’s more that Son loves it here, I believe that he would like to commit his future to the club for a long time.”

Spurs fans are eager to see the trio of Son, Gareth Bale and Harry Kane really hit it off this season and of the three we’ve perhaps seen Son prove the most impressive so far this year – though Bale has been injured and Kane has still been at a top level himself.

If all three can gel, they’ll score goals for fun.
