Sometimes, transfer stories can be very predictable and when an international break is upon us, you know you’re going to hear about players being scouted.
That, then, has certainly been the case this time around with ESPNFC claiming that Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea were all taking in the game between Germany and England.
They weren’t there to just take in Lukas Podolski’s farewell, though, they were there on business – namely the scouting of defender Antonio Rudiger.
The Roma defender is one of the best around and helped keep a clean sheet against the Three Lions last night, whilst he also demonstrated his ability to read the game well.
He’s a very modern centre-half with the way he glides across the pitch and plays his way out of trouble so he’d surely do a good job for any of the three sides.
