Glenn Middleton is unlikely to feature for Rangers in the coming months after Football Insider reported that the winger is set to be out in the cold until at least the January window, with the Gers then perhaps looking to move him on.
The young attacker showed some really good flashes not so long ago in a light blue shirt but since the 2018/19 season things have perhaps not gone how he would have liked.
These things do happen, of course, particularly to younger players and after a couple of loan spells the Gers had been looking to move him on again in the summer.
That never happened, of course, but the idea that he’ll be back involved at Ibrox in the next couple of months appears to have been scuppered by this update.
January, then, could be the time where we see him on the move but until then getting actual minutes for the club seems unlikely.
