Ademola Lookman has told Everton’s official website that he is determined to break into the first team in the near future.
The young winger was on loan with Red Bull Leipzig last season and did well over in Germany during that time.
Indeed, it seemed as though the Bundesliga side wanted to take him on a permanent deal but the Toffees held firm.
Certainly, that suggested that Marco Silva wanted to keep the player on his books for this campaign but, as yet, he hasn’t managed to nail a place down.
The likes of Theo Walcott, Richarlison and Bernard have featured more out wide and so it is clear the former Charlton man has his work cut out.
He’s ready for the challenge, though, and with the Toffees’ current manager boasting a good record of offering young players the chance to shine, he may well have an opportunity as we start to approach the hectic festive period.
