Chelsea defender Reece James could be back in the Blues’ side later this month as he bids to recover from injury.

The full-back has been one of the best players for the London club this season and that has led to calls for him to be featuring more for England – though he has serious competition from the likes of Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Evidently, though, the Blues have missed him with them drawing with Aston Villa and losing to Manchester City whilst he’s been out but it looks as though he might return soon.

As per Football.London the Premier League games against, Fulham, Leicester City, Wolves or Burnley later this month could all see him return and fans will hope it’s as soon as possible – though he is set to miss the FA Cup game with Morecambe this weekend.

Rush Football’s take

It’s only natural that Blues fans will want James to return as quickly as possible but at the moment they need to be careful with him and bringing him back only when he is ready.

He is a fine player and one with a huge career ahead of him with him showing that this season for the Blues and once he is back he’s bound to bring both extra attacking and defensive qualities to the side.
