West Ham United’s Reece Oxford has joined Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old signed a 4-and-a-half year contract in December before spending the second half of the 2016/17 campaign on loan at Reading, featuring just 5 times for The Royals.

London born Oxford became West Ham United’s youngest ever player when he started in the 3-0 win over FC Lusitanos in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round. Furthermore, he became the second youngest player ever to start a Premier League match when he was named in the starting 11 to face Arsenal, playing 79 minutes in the 2-0 victory.
