Matheus Pereira is set to sign a new deal at West Bromwich Albion to keep him at the club for another five years, according to a report from Football Insider.

The Baggies have had a tough start to the season and will be looking to pick up points as soon as they can, with them losing last time out to Fulham in the Premier League.

They’ll be looking to the likes of Pereira to get them the results, then, after he enjoyed an excellent season at the club on loan last year, with him signing permanently earlier in the summer.

Now, then, the club is looking to really nail him down for the foreseeable with them adding a further year to his current stay, as they look to protect themselves from losing him on the cheap, as well as obviously wanting to keep him for the duration of the deal.
