Route to Russia:
Brazil were the first nation to secure qualification for Russia (excluding the hosts), as early as March. They finished ten points ahead of the second placed South American qualifiers and breezed through the qualification phase.
How far can they get:
Every four years Brazil are mentioned among the favourites for the World Cup and this year will be no different. Last time ended in humiliation at the hands of Germany. Lessons will have been learned and now Brazil will be aiming for the final.
Tite. Brazil were faltering under their former manager Dunga. Tite stepped in and they proceeded to win 8 games in a row. He has no international experience but did lead Corinthians to a record breaking season before taking the head role at Brazil.
One to watch:
Neymar. He may have been injured for the past few months but on any given day he is a world beater and can punish any team, if given the opportunity.
