The dust is settling on another weekend of Premier League football with things certainly once again catching the eye.

Whilst Arsenal once again fell apart – this time against Crystal Palace – Liverpool chalked up an important comeback win, Everton and Leicester played out a superb game, Chelsea maintained their lead and West Ham recorded the biggest victory of their season.

All in a weekend’s work in the top-flight, then, and so here’s who made our TOTW this time around:

GK: Simon Mignolet

The Belgian stopper was absolutely brilliant and pulled off some top-drawer, close quarters saves. Liverpool’s attackers got all the plaudits in their win but Mignolet deserves just as much praise.

CB: Mamadou Sakho

Sakho was a wall yet again for Crystal Palace as they bullied Arsenal. He’s a very old-school defender and the Gunners simply could not get past him as they were sent away with their tails between their legs.

CB: Phil Jagielka

Jagielka is enjoying a renaissance at the moment and was once again good against Leicester. He scored a towering header and has got himself in good form at the perfect time for Everton with Ashley Williams banned.

CB: Marcos Alonso

Alonso scored a fine free-kick in another superb display for Chelsea. He’s made the left-wing-back position his own and there can be no doubt about his selection in this side this week.

CDM: Tom Davies

Tom Davies really does look a talent. He strides around the pitch like a man in his prime and rides challenges with aplomb. He’s only 18-years-old and looks set to be a top player for years to come.

CDM: Luka Milivojevic

Hard as nails but can play too, Milivojevic looks like a good signing for Palace. He controlled the midfield on Monday night against the Gunners and rolled his penalty home without a care in the world.

CAM: Dele Alli

Spurs v Watford needed some real magic to get it going and Alli provided it. The young England international hit a fine, swirling effort to open the scoring and from there, it really was one-way traffic.

CAM: Philippe Coutinho

The little Brazilian came on at half-time and changed the game for Liverpool against Stoke. He may not be fully fit still but there can be no doubt that he is technically back up to speed.

LF: Eden Hazard

Hazard put in a superlative display against Bournemouth. With Diego Costa struggling for goals, the Belgian has needed to step up and he has surely done that. He’s the key in this title run in.

RF: Roberto Firmino

Firmino arrived to the party late against Stoke for Liverpool but it didn’t take him long to be centre of attention. He rifled home a dipping strike to give the Reds the lead and, ultimately, a big three points.

ST: Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku bullied Leicester at the weekend to see himself put more daylight between him and the rest of the pack in the race for the Golden Boot. Can he be caught now? Only time is going to tell.
