Liverpool head to Watford on Saturday evening as they look to get themselves another three points nearer the Premier League title.
The Reds need four wins to ensure that they win their first first division title in 30 years and up next on the fixture list is a trip to Vicarage Road to face the Hornets.
Battling relegation, the hosts will go into the game as underdogs – as most sides do against Liverpool – but they are a tough side to beat and at home they have shown improved resilience under Nigel Pearson.
Indeed, Liverpool found out on Monday how tough it can be to beat a side facing the drop as they only just overcame West Ham and the players will know that they have to be bang at it to earn the win.
They’re yet to lose this season in the league, though, and in a recent interview with the BBC World Service, attacker Sadio Mane was asked whether it had been easy so far this season.
His reply, though, suggested it’d been anything but:
“Easy? Oh, I wish.
“We know the Premier League is the best league in the world and every single game you have to give 100% if you want to win.
“It’s what we always try and I think it’s working very well but we have to keep working hard to get what we want.”
There’s certainly been some close calls this season for the Reds and Watford will hope that they can cause them a scare too.
