According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri are set to start Callum Hudson-Odoi in their game with Brighton this week.
The winger has broken onto the scene this season for the Blues but his Premier League action has been negligible.
It appears, though, in a move that will get at least some Blues fans onside with their embattled Italian manager, it looks as though he could be unleashed against the Seagulls.
Hudson-Odoi recently featured against Montenegro in the European Qualifiers during the international break and did well, with his directness leading to Ross Barkley’s goal.
Certainly, he seems ready for a start and it looks as though his manager is finally willing to bring him into the fold in the league.
Whether this will help him keep his job or keep the England man at the club past this season, though, remains to be seen.
Chelsea play Brighton tomorrow night.
