According to the Sun, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to get his summer business done before the club goes on their pre-season tour.

The Red Devils are due to meet the likes of Leeds United on their trip before the real stuff gets going next season, and Solskjaer wants his squad up to speed by then.

He’s eyeing the likes of Daniel James, Sean Longstaff and Ben Godfrey at the moment and apparently wants them in sooner rather than later.

United, of course, had a poor campaign in the Premier League in the end with many suggesting they need new players to get back towards the top spots.

Solskjaer is ready to spend, then, but it looks as though he is eyeing young British talent rather than the big names United have signed in recent seasons.

Whether this change in transfer approach works, then, remains to be seen this summer.
