The rise from non-league to Premier League is a path recently trodden by Rickie Lambert, Andre Gray and Jamie Vardy. But who will be the next star to emerge from the lower tiers of the football pyramid? Rush Football take a look at three non-league footballers that have started the season in style.

Lewis Hole – Little Common FC – @bigunitmahogany

Despite only being 7 league games into the new season, Lewis Hole of Little Common FC in the Southern Combination Premier Division has already scored a staggering 14 goals. This includes 3 hat tricks alongside countless assists as Little Common have scored 32 times so far this campaign. In fact, the frontman has been so lethal in front of goal for Little Common (scoring 294 goals to be precise), the Sussex side have named their newest stand the ‘Lewis Hole Stand’.

Josh Kaine – Silsden AFC – @joshkaine

Josh Kaine, captain of Silsden AFC has lead the side to the top of the North West Counties League First Division in remarkable fashion. The club based in West Yorkshire have won all of their opening 8 league games, scoring 20 while conceding just 5. This includes victory over 3rd place side Alsager Town, with Kaine once again captain of the side. With 3 winnable games approaching, Silsden AFC will easily null any threat with Kaine at the heart of their defence.

Ronnie Yates – Takeley FC – @Ronnieyates86

Takeley FC of the Essex Senior League Premier Division have won all 6 of their opening league games, thanks in particular to the man in between the sticks, goalkeeper Ronnie Yates. The village club located not far from Stansted Airport, have conceded just 2 goals so far this campaign, whilst scoring 17 at the other end. There’s still a very long way to go this season, but should experienced stopper Ronnie Yates remain in command of his already resolute back four, they’ll have no problem achieving promotion.
