Giovani Lo Celso is back in Spurs training in a boost to the club as he continues his work back from injury.
The Argentine midfielder was missing from the game at the weekend against Everton with the Blues running out 1-0 winners, a result that drew a fair bit of ire from Spurs fans for lacking in quality performers and effort in all truth.
A response is needed as their Europa League qualifier with Lokomotiv Plovdiv takes place tomorrow, then, and Lo Celso has been training with the rest of the squad ahead of a potential return to the side.
Lo Celso has missed all of Spurs’ pre-season matches this year thanks to injury so might not be rushed back for the game on Thursday but, even so, with him proving a regular member of the side last season it’s likely we’ll see him back in the starting eleven under Jose Mourinho sooner rather than later.
