Whisper it quietly, but the new Premier League season is not that far away now and, before you know it, we’ll but wondering just exactly what it’s like to not have football about…

Indeed, it isn’t long until we delve into another season of club football and so, as is customary at this time of year, it’s time to wheel out some season preview material.

Here at Rush Football, then, we’re taking a look at each Premier League club’s best four stars for the coming campaign and next up it’s Watford.

See if you agree with our selections…

Etienne Capoue

Capoue started last season in fine form with his goals from midfield and remained a key part of the Watford side.

If he can find the net more consistently this year coming he’ll surely help maintain Watford’s top flight status for a further year.

Troy Deeney

Deeney is for sure Watford’s best player and the powerful striker will lead from the front this campaign coming.

He clearly fell out with Walter Mazzarri and so he’ll hope that that doesn’t happen with Marco Silva.

Heurelho Gomes

Gomes was the subject of a fair few jokes when he was at Tottenham but he has proven to be a strong option for Watford.

He’s getting on in years but still commands his defence well and should be another mainstay in the Hornets’ goal.

Jose Holebas

Holebas is quite underrated as a full-back but is actually a solid performer.

He gets up and down the left side well and in Marco Silva’s new look team he should be able to nail down a spot.

Have we missed anyone? Let us know!
