West Ham United player Michail Antonio is ahead of schedule in terms of his injury recovery and could be back a couple of weeks earlier than initially expected, according to a report from Football Insider.
The Irons have missed Antonio in recent weeks from their attacking line-up with Sebastian Haller not really managing to replicate what the Englishman can do in terms of leading the line.
Indeed, it was always going to be a blow in seeing him injured but, in good news for fans of the Hammers, it would appear that he is not too far away from a return.
As per the report, the player is eyeing a return to action after this month’s international break, well ahead of the earlier suggestion that he could be out until December.
Indeed, with the Premier League coming to a halt after this weekend’s games for the internationals to take place, it seems Antonio won’t miss too many more matches now.
