According to Estadio Deportivo, West Ham are once again looking at defensive midfielder William Carvalho.
In a rumour that will feel all too familiar to Hammers fans, the Portuguese international is apparently once again of interest to the London side.
As far back as 2017 we saw the Irons linked with the player, with the Guardian reporting back then that Slaven Bilic was confident that they would be able to sign him up.
A lot has changed since then, of course, with Bilic just unveiled at West Brom and Carvalho now at Real Betis when he was at Sporting Lisbon at the time.
However, after impressing in the Nations League final for the Portuguese against the Netherlands it is clear he has great quality still and at 27 there is plenty of time left for him to do well in the Premier League.
Will West Ham get him at last, then? That is something we might just see this summer…
