According to today’s printed Sun (page 49,) West Ham striker Jordan Hugill could be of interest to former side Preston North End.

The Hammers signed the powerful striker from the Deepdale club but since he has not really settled into Premier League life.

Indeed, we saw him head out on loan to Middlesbrough last season under Tony Pulis where he had varying levels of success and he is now back at the London Stadium.

However, with Manuel Pellegrini looking to get himself back into European competition with his Hammers side, it appears as though he might well be open to letting Hugill go.

Preston are reportedly keen, then, and it remains to be seen whether or not they manage to get him back in.

The Lilywhites signed Jayden Stockley in the summer whilst the likes of Callum Robinson will be looking to play regularly after an injury-hit campaign last time out in the Championship.
