West Ham United will look to get something out of their game with Manchester City tomorrow evening – though that is obviously a task that is easier said than done.

Though City have not been at their best throughout the season, they have still be excellent in one-off games and have the ability to blow anyone away.

They did that exactly when the two sides met on the opening day of the season and David Moyes will be thinking of ways to try and combat the Citizens’ arsenal.

Whether or not he tries to fight fire with fire and bring in Jarrod Bowen, though, remains to be seen with the January signing yet to make his debut for the club after joining from Hull.

Speaking ahead of the game, though, it seems as though West Ham fans are going to have to wait for him to make his first appearance with Moyes saying in his pre-match press conference:

“I am wary of putting the boys in too quickly. I have had lots of boys from the Championship in the past and I think it’s important that you put them in at the right time, the right moments, at the right time and we will just take our time and see when it’s right for Jarrod.”

Moyes was also asked if he was thinking of giving Bowen his debut at Manchester City on Wednesday, to which he replied: “I wouldn’t say that and I wouldn’t be direct as that and give you the answer even if I was.

“But obviously he is a talent. We need goals, he can do that. I am also very aware that we don’t need to put pressure on him too quickly.”
