Michail Antonio has not managed to win his race to be fit for this evening’s clash between West Ham United and Sheffield United.
Antonio picked up an injury in the game against Fulham in the Premier League and was ruled out for the FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
There was some hope he would return to the side tonight as the Hammers take on the Blades but, as you can see below, he’s not fit enough to even make the bench this evening:

Rush Football’s take
It’s a blow for West Ham and perhaps typical that as soon as the January window shut they saw Antonio pick up a problem.
It’s not a long-term issue but he is missing another fixture here and if the Hammers want to make Europe this season they naturally want him back as soon as possible.
The likes of Jarrod Bowen and Manuel Lanzini will be looked at by Hammers fans to get the goals this evening, then, against a Blades side that is obviously trying to pull off the greatest of escapes from relegation this season.
Kick-off is at 6pm this evening at the London Stadium.
