Rayan Ait-Nouri certainly caught the eye for Wolves at the weekend as the men from Molineux beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League to further climb the table.

The Old Gold appear to be starting to hit their stride and could have even more points on the board had they not drawn late to Newcastle last Monday.

Even so, there are promising signs for the men from Molineux and the latest has to be the performance of Air-Nouri where he bagged a goal and impressed Wolves fans and neutral onlookers alike.

Conor Coady was pleased with him, too, and offered an exciting prediction in that he’s not settled fully yet, so he could get even better.

Speaking to Wolves’ official website, he said:

“He’s really sharp. He turns you inside out. He’s got bags of tricks. It’s important we try and help him settle in as much as possible.

“He’s a young boy coming from a different country. He’s a fantastic person, he’s brilliant to have around the place, and it’s up to us as teammates and friends to make him settle as quickly as possible and hopefully we’ll keep on going.”

Wolves made some good signings in the summer window and it looks as though Ait-Nouri could be another one of those.

They’ve got a nice looking squad and there is certainly room for them to get even better this season.
